We’re a passionate organisation using a great idea to achieve huge things. We’re always looking to collaborate with skilled and enthusiastic people, companies and organisations in the UK and Africa.
Here are some ways that you could get involved:
Give your time
Volunteering for TackleAfrica helps empower young people on our programmes. In the UK you could help out at our Football Marathons, celebrity golf days and showcase events, join TackleAfrica FC playing exhibition games against other organisations, apply for a 6-month part-time internship assisting our UK team, complete a specific project for us, or use your skills and experience to provide expertise to help us improve an area of the organisation. Email for more details.
In Africa, you could join our volunteer coaching network and help train African coaches to deliver TackleAfrica sessions to young people in their communities – visit Coach in Africa for more details.
Give or raise money
The more money we raise, the more young people we can reach. A one-off or regular donation makes a huge difference to our work. Click our donation page here to make an online gift or set up a monthly donation.
If you’re sporty, in the UK over the summer, you could take part in one of our famous football marathons putting your love of football to the ultimate test, playing 6-a-side in a mass twelve hour tournament. We have marathons around the country, so visit our Football Marathons page to find your nearest one. We’re also always looking for volunteer physiotherapists and first aiders at the marathons! If you can help, email ">

We also have places in the Virgin British 10k and the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100. In Africa, we have places up for grabs at the Uganda Marathon. Volunteers spend a week in Uganda on a TackleAfrica project and then get sponsored to run the Uganda Marathon. For more details visit www.ugandamarathon.com/adventure
